Targa has over 17 years experience in the Music Industry as a Creative, working in New York, London, Toronto, Sydney & Los Angeles. Most recently an Executive at Capitol Records, as the Senior Vice President of Creative, where for 10 years she oversaw music video and visual content production for Capitol’s full roster of superstar, established and developing artists.

Targa first joined the label in 2014. Highlights during this period include producing the Mary J. Blige documentary, The London Sessions, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2015; producing the Emmy-nominated television special An Evening of Nostalgia with Annie Lennox; overseeing music videos for Halsey’s first 3 albums, which have amassed more than 3 billion views to date, as well as eight MTV VMA nominations; overseeing a number of Katy Perry’s videos, which have also amassed more than 3 billion views to date; overseeing (with Capitol’s brands team) and executing multi-million dollar global campaigns for Halsey/Magnum Ice Cream and Katy Perry/Coca-Cola “Open To Better” in 2021. Among the many other artists she has been integrally involved with on a creative level Calum Scott, Sam Smith, Alesso, Matteo Bocelli, Jennifer Lopez, Neil Diamond, Niall Horan, Tori Kelly, Jon Bellion and Five Seconds of Summer.

Prior to joining Capitol, Targa was Director of Video Production at Columbia Records in Los Angeles, having first joined that label in 2008 in New York. Among the many artists she worked with on a creative level were AC/DC, Adele, Train, One Direction, and the soundtracks to Glee. She also oversaw all music videos and visual content for the label’s partnership with Nickelodeon.
